Orleans Parish called for a mandatory evacuation for areas outside of the levee protection system and a voluntary evacuation for anyone inside the levee protection system. Please get yourselves and your loved ones to safety as soon as possible.

Hopefully New Orleans “levy protection system” holds better now than it did during Katrina. So much money that had been allotted for keeping them in shape was used for casinos and other corruption back then.
