I am not sure no tenure is a good thing. I have seen small school systems operate on the basis of who you know, political clout, and relationships, rather than on quality. I've seen a very good school teacher fired because the police caught a school board member's son rolling (tp) that teacher's yard. The teacher didn't call the police, the only punishment was the kid had to clean up his mess, but the teacher was fired nonetheless.
There is abuse in both directions. Usually on this topic I am quiet because I do see the difficulty in removing bad teachers. There are good reasons for tenure and no tenure.
For me, I only have to look at the strong teacher’s unions ruining education in this country and the teachers willing to go along with teaching CRT in the classroom to know that both teachers unions and tenure are bad for the country.
Just my 2 cents.
