In hot weather, I usually just “ponytail” it!
But did you see how easy it is to do a chignon?
I do like they say, a ponytail at the nape of the neck-
then I take a plain flat barrette, and put it up with
the hair hanging over the barrette, and then just tuck the
hair in at the nape of the neck.
Very fast and looks good too!
I wish I could come visit you so you could show me what you mean. I don’t really get it.

Only, I just twist mine, then clip up. (No ponytail holder.)
