Such sweet Friends you are!
I’m sorry I didn’t check in right away. The vet looked at the picture that I took of Cotton’s eye at her worst and yelled “Oh my God!” I guess she doesn’t hold back. Luckily cotton side is on the mend or I would have panicked.
Anyway she said if she didn’t know that cotton had had any trouble, she would have never known. Her eyes looks perfectly normal now. Optic nerve looks good, as do the blood vessels behind the eye. Her guess for Cotton’s blindness is that when she had blood pressure spikes due to the pain in her paw, arthritis, some of the spikes did permanent damage when the blood vessels behind the eyes had a high pressure.
Cotton is eating well again, she just gets lost from time to time. She seems to have made the basement her home for now, so as long as she’s comfortable, she can stay there.
Corduroy has an appointment on Tuesday, it’ll be his last one. They were really sweet, they said if he doesn’t look like he’s comfortable, I can drop in any time they are open and they will squeeze him in. That was after I said I might need to cancel this I go to the emergency vet over the weekend.
Happy to hear about Cotton. I’m so sad to hear about Roy, my screen got blurry. Are you going to have him buried?

Good news. I’m glad for you, CB, and your dear kitty!
Oh dear....I didn’t realize what your post about Roy meant, either. I am sorry. That’s gotta be one of the toughest things to do.
Sending hugs.
