It says HD will “require” all associates, contractors & vendors to wear maskie-waskies while inside all U.S. HD stores, distribution centers, etc. They will “ask” customers to wear them inside the stores, & “continue to offer” them to those who don’t have them. (Sort of like Wal-Mart just started doing).

So if I’m reading it correctly, employees are mandated; customers are asked. Doubt there will be wholesale compliance, however. I know I’m not wearing a damn mask.

Some months ago, my local grocery had a sign up that said, “We ask you follow the CDC recommendations and wear a mask while in the store.”

“Ask” and “recommendations” aren’t law.
Look at and read the individual pandemic-rules made by the state, the health department (that has NO JURISDICTION over citizens) and even the “public accommodation” (AKA: Store).
See if there is any penalty for customers/citizens for NOT wearing a mask.
See if there is mention of legal penalty according to State Law and WHO is assessed that penalty.
