Thanks for your input. I find it interesting that even thought the interstates were designed for this, decades ago, this is the first time they have been used for this type of exercise. At least that is what the article says.
Agreed - plus it’s a state highway not an interstate...makes me wonder if all highways haven’t had code updates to allow for aerial landings/takeoffs where strips are long enough.
