Living in Panama, the only meds you aren’t allowed to buy without a prescription are antibiotics and opioids. So, I walked into a farmacia and asked for “ivermectina” (ee-vair-meck-tee-na) and paid $25 (U.S.) for a box of 24 pills.
But that didn’t impress the locals. They said you could go to the pet store where they sell the same medicine for dogs for around $18.
When I fly to the States in the fall, I plan to take pills for the air travel and any place I might encounter those vaxxed superspreaders.
What mg are your farmacia pills?
