Thanks. I don’t go to clubs, bars or crowded places; never did, except Woodstock in 1969. That was enough for me, forever.

I don't recall Hong Kong Flu being a big deal back then. Perhaps, it was the time of the season.

I don’t recall ever getting the flu, until I was in my late-20s/early-30s. The earlier years were pretty much disease-free, except for chicken pox, mumps and measles, as a little kid.

No it wasn’t a big deal, just the same ole headlines about the current flu that we used to have. I was in college. I was unlucky enough to get an especially virulent mutation. Fast and severe.

I started out the AM feeling ok with a minor tickle in my throat. Walking between classes had severe inability to breathe, and collapsed. My car pool picked me up and took me to the car and a doctor. Full blown case of bronchitis.

Took a long time after recovery to get back to full normal.
