My choice
Problem is that there’s a lag, and the spike in positive tests is very recent. Among the unvaccinated, the death rates at 1%-2% as in the first phases would be a lot of deaths in a state like Alabama where so few have been vaccinated. The Delta variant is FAR MORE contagious, and is going to infect pretty much everyone. Those who have the vaccine or good natural immunity will fight it off no problem.

If a vaccinated person appears just as sick as an unvaccinated person is then why wouldn't the doctor admit them if that's the procedure for the unvaxed person?
Alabama has had more than a year to build healthcare facilities and train caregivers to deal with any “surge” of the China Virus.
If it has not, then it can only be concluded that the government there wants lockdowns to continue for its own (most likely nefarious) purposes.

Personally I don't. Get vaccinated is a personal choice so getting COVID is a personal choice as well.

Since the vaccine is so effective, vaccinated people have nothing to fear from the unvaccinated. If that’s a government lie- that the vaccine protects those who inject it into themselves, we have a problem, Houston.
If the vaccines were effective, the vaccinated wouldn’t care about the unvaccinated. Instead, the vaccinated fear the unvaccinated.
