These guys have a good 30 min. video up about the German pedo foster child tragedy.
They actually have a number of good videos about various topics. They are British and use good, dry British humor and facial expressions that, I guess, make viewing videos about these topics slightly less depressing, if that’s possible.
That was a sad read. The biggest flaw of public institutions is that they insert themselves where they’re neither needed nor wanted instead of serving the public well by performing proper oversight where they could do a lot of good. The signs were there that the boys were being abused but they were ignored, making the government complicit in the abuse.
