“I’m admitting young healthy people to the hospital with very serious COVID infections,” wrote Cobia, a hospitalist at Grandview Medical Center in Birmingham, in an emotional Facebook post Sunday. “One of the last things they do before they’re intubated is beg me for the vaccine. I hold their hand and tell them that I’m sorry, but it’s too late.”
“They cry. And they tell me they didn’t know. They thought it was a hoax. They thought it was political. They thought because they had a certain blood type or a certain skin color they wouldn’t get as sick. They thought it was ‘just the flu’. But they were wrong. And they wish they could go back. But they can’t. So they thank me and they go get the vaccine. And I go back to my office, write their death note, and say a small prayer that this loss will save more lives.”

Yeah, I’m going to believe bloggers.
<< So on one side there are the vast majority of medical professionals, especially those with post doctoral peer-reviewed research >>
True. But then again the vast majority of climate scientists with post-doctoral peer reviewed research subscribe to man-made global climate catastrophism, so peer reviewed experts with fancy degrees and credentials are far from infallible. And in the case of climate scientists, they’re full of dreck.
Actually, many doctors no longer see their own patients in hospitals. Instead, they are cared for by a hospitalist -— a doctor who only sees hospital patients, and does not see any office patients of his own. Also, many of them are young, and just parrot what they’ve been taught in their increasingly liberal medical schools, until they get a few years under their belts, and learn a few more things. Having said that, I don’t necessarily believe this guy. If doctors, hospitalists or not, would treat patients with KNOWN effective treatments such as Remdesavir, Ivermectin, and Hydroxychloriquin, their patients might not have to die, vaccinated or not.
NEVER, unless you have absolutely no choice, go to a hospital without an advocate who has medical knowledge.
What was that like?
I'd imagine it was an unpleasant experience, although it sounds like no big deal.
Don’t know
Go ahead, stay indoctrinated.....that's what CNN likes. Here's more good news - but as usual, don't pay attention cuz it won't be on CNN or MSNBC.

You’re a rube of the lowest order. The hilariously adamant rube that excoriates the uninitiated. If not the meanest post of the day, definitely the dumbest.
“Feel sort of bad for these guys having to take care of patients too stupid to get a safe and effective vaccine who then show up in ICU expecting you to save their lives. I say screw em. If you didn’t get a vaccine, you don’t get expensive medical care. Just go die somewhere on your own.”
You should babble on somewhere else,
Troll.
I've worked with them...They are MD's or DO's
You going to reply to anyone....after your post?
How about Hydroxy and zinc you lying quack?
Agreed - reminds me of the overwhelmed hospital staff that had the time and extra medical components to make a “last thing you’ll see when intubated” video trying to scare people into mask and hiding out in bunkers.
I believe in being smart, I think the (US) vaccines have been great and done much in protecting folks, but to each their own. There is more than one way to herd immunity and that started before any vaccines were available.
This CNN drama stuff is best broadcast on the kardashian show
“A large part of the population is unfit and unhealthy.”
And they are the ones getting infected and dying, vaccine or not.
