I do know this crap scares the sh*t out of some people who will then do things in a panic and fear overriding critical thinking and common sense and that's the goal.
I thought the Delta was a cold + Strep so I did Zicam in addition to my normal Prophylaxes(D+K,Zinc,aspirin,multivitamin)

When my family member had the Wuhan Flu, they told her to wait for a month before getting the vaccine.
I had it a year ago June. I was lucky, it was very mild except I lost my sense of taste and smell for well over three months. I know people who have become very ill and I know people who have died. I am still not getting the vaccine.
Ever notice how people don’t die at home from coronavirus? Why aren’t we finding all kinds of bodies in houses?
It’s because going to the hospital is what kills you.

Exactly this. That’s why I’m holding off on vaccination, because I can’t reliably estimate the risk. I might eventually decide to take a vaccine, but I don’t know how to get de-vaccinated.
Hospitalist is an MD who usually works with chronically ill patients in hospital settings.
Feel sort of bad for these guys having to take care of patients too stupid to get a safe and effective vaccine who then show up in ICU expecting you to save their lives. I say screw em. If you didn’t get a vaccine, you don’t get expensive medical care. Just go die somewhere on your own.

I am glad you have not heard the term. Hopefully it is because you have not spent much time in the hospital.
I have heard it many times, during my stays in a hospital, or when staying with family members in the hospital.
Facts?
Preventative supplements were out there, Vitamin D3, Vit. C, Zinc and Magnesium were out there for about 10 cents per day dosage. Hundreds of scientific reports verifying the positive and preventative effects were out there from medical experts and being reported.
Cures for the sickness were out there, also from medical experts. Ivermectin, Hydroxychloroquine and Remdesivir. Given when diagnosed with the Covid it is generally gone within a week.
And the “NUMBERS?” - Look at the tragedy of thousands of sick people placed into senior living and nursing homes where so many more would knowingly become infected and die. So tragic that they passed away locked in isolation unable to have their family or friends with them as they died from the mistakes of those governors. And the reports are out there that more money was made from each of those deaths that could be attributed to Covid!
So on one side there are the vast majority of medical professionals, especially those with post doctoral peer-reviewed research in epidemiology, and a near unanimity of emergency room doctors, nurses, and public health professionals
and on the other side, a few medical cranks and a bunch of politicians and talk show hosts who barely have anything beyond a B.A.

And yet, people are not dying in the streets despite the early Chinese fear porn of people dying as they walk down the sidewalk. They are not found dead in homes, or in cars.
Funny how they all die in hospitals.
My brother has been in the hospital for nearly 2 months. He went to the ER two times (and sent him home with Albuterol) before they admitted him finally on the third. I am convinced that had they not waited to treat him and then with proper therapeutics, it would not have gotten so bad. But their delay and that garbage Remdesivir ensured his death. As his life hung in the balance, one doctor stepped up and threw a fit that they weren’t doing enough and forced the attending physician to order ECMO therapy as a last ditch Hail Mary. That saved his life but he will never be the same. My wife and I will still not be getting the “vaccine”.
