From the excerpt, I don’t get the negative reaction. This woman is describing people who are so ignorant they think a vaccination will help them after they have a full blown illness. These aren’t people eschewing vaccination due to their sophisticated scientific understanding of the dangers of mRNA vaccines, etc. They are individuals in the low-info, low-IQ camp who “believe” foolish claptrap. She then sees them at a stage when it’s too late.

Covid is not a “human” disease so we have no idea how long “immunity” lasts. I’ve talked to several people who say they had it twice.
Thank you for your polite and reasoned response. From what I can see, most of the experts nationally are advising folks to take the vaccine.
And yes, most of the kooks are on the anti-vaxx side. They most certainly muddy the waters.
But here’s the thing. I have talked to medical professionals in my family. And I have talked to doctors I know. I respect those folks. And there’s no clear consensus at all.
It’s maddening.
P.S. I think the solution might be to have a debate, maybe on CSPAN. Have two respected pro-vaxxers debate two respected anti-vaxxers. Let each side probe the objections of the other side. That would be most helpful.

A hospitalist only works at the hospital for their particular time of sevice. The see the acutely ill patient...and they can admit the patient to the hospital and follow the case if the patient doesn’t have petsonal M.
D. The staff doesnt need to call the patients personal m.d and wait for orders. They are legitimate medical doctors.

I am not anti vaxxer. I just distrust a never before tested methodolovy for inducing an immune response messing with the protein manufacturing rna/dna in my cells. Could they have used a less harmful antigen beside spike protein? Could they have blocked spike protein assisted entry of virus into the cell using chemicals/biomolecules?
Never seen such trust in one experimental methodology for treatment.
My question to the doctor is...how did she survive working in the hospital with all those covid patients BEFORE the vaccine? Was she gowned, head covered, booty wearing, glove wearing, face shielded, eye goggle wearing persson. I would like to know how many health care workers have contracted c19 and died.
My cancer doc (a guy in marathon runner shape, 55 yrs old) got it back in March 2020 when things were just breaking out. He said it was like a week of the worst hangover he ever had. A week after that he was back at work.
