He lifted the franchise.
Yep, he was my all time favorite Bond.......
I( would have thought that the next Bond would be a black post-op trannie...
Another vote for Craig being the closest to the book Bond, followed by Connery.
Moore could be cold at times, such as the Cairo scene in Spy Who Loved me when the bad guy is hanging on by Bond’s tie. As soon as Bond get’s the info he wants he let’s the man fall to his death. But still, maybe Moore was too much of a decent fellow in real life and didn’t have the acting skills to keep that from coming through.
Lazenby was good, my third choice. But he let what was then the “Woke crowd” convince him Bond wasn’t cool so he only did one film.
Ah, the original Casino Royal TV special? Or the Bond spoof with David Niven? Or the Daniel Craig movie version? Well, Ursula Andress was quite comely in the parody. And, yes, that was an intentional parody. As much of a fan of Bond as I am, I also like the parodies, especially the whole “In Like Flint” series.
I didn’t like him at first, but changed my mind by the second movie...
1.) Craig. 2.) Connery 3.) Brosnan
