There is a rational explanation of the so-called missile launch.

Q-anons are just too dumb to believe it.

So you admit you like to swallow...specious explanations.

Yea, we'd rather believe our lying eyes.

From your propganda piece....

I happen to be experienced with complex time-lapse photography. It's worth noting that this type of photography can result in the appearance of distorted time and space in multiple ways.

You are looking at a two-dimensional image of a complex 3D event, under unique lighting and environmental circumstances. What looks like a rocket being traced by its own exhaust plume as it rises into the heaves can actually be an object on a flat or even a descending profile coming towards you, or even an object moving away.

Long distances traced by light can appear short and vice-versa, depending on the depth of the light being traced. The fact that the exposure lasts seconds, not fractions of a second, can also complicate making an accurate initial interpretation, but that information can also be beneficial when trying to decipher a mysterious image like this one.

*snip*

The Alaska Airlines jet (ASA94) descending from the northwest would have been out of the frame of the camera, although at first, it looked like a possible explanation as either the aircraft's lights or its contrail could have possibly caused the illusion. Then we noticed an air ambulance helicopter—an EC-135T2+ registered as N952AL belonging to Air Methods—flying right in the vicinity of the Skunk Bay when the image in question was captured.

Your propaganda piece goes on to explain how the missile is actually a helicopter.

In other words....

Reality....

Mickety, you need to give up on this ridiculous helicopter theory of yours. It makes you look stupider than if Joe Biden and Kamaltoe Harris had a retarded butt baby.

***There is a rational explanation of the so-called missile launch. Q-anons are just too dumb to believe it***

The video in the story you link to has been edited. Immediately after the Skunk Bay video was released I made copies and did extensive study. I am familiar with the entire sequence, studied it over and over.

Notice that the linked video never shows the 'rising light' to the left of the screen. Just prior to the video ending there is a 'flash' in the night video. Bear in mind that the action appears faster in the video than actual life because it is time lapse still pictures; shown in sequence it appears as motion video.

The video begins with a darkening sky. Vehicle traffic on Whidbey Island is seen, predominately traveling from screen right to screen left; in one pass the red streak of tail lights can be detected. One such pass is brighter and faster than the others but is still a vehicle passage from right of screen to left. Following that the screen grows quite dark.

Suddenly there is a flash that blanks out the video. Then an extremely bright light, not on the same level as the road traffic, passes from the left side of the screen to the right. That is the helicopter mentioned in the story. The pilots admitted later that they left their search beam, aimed downward, on during the pass transversing the island.

Where the deception occurs in the posted video is that the picture stops after the helicopter completes its crossing. Had the video continued, there would have been some brightening of the sky, first moderately directly behind Whidbey Island and then increasingly on the far left of the frame. That increasingly bright light then erupts into a vertical streak, and the video shows the missile at the top of that vertical streak. (Again, bear in mind that the video is not continuous action but a sequential composite of time delay still photographs.)

The video frame showing the missile atop its rocket plume is not ambiguous. The Skunk Bay camera (high resolution) just caught it as it rises out of frame. The flash is presumed by most analysts to be lightning. As to the launch source of the missile, it is most likely a rogue submarine - certainly an unidentified sub of unknown origin, hopefully not of some hostile nation. The position of the sub, looking at Puget Sound and Whidbey Island, would have made it vulnerable to being blocked from escaping to the ocean unless it was a fast moving boat with good navigational gear.

As to the ownership of the 'rogue' sub, that subject is probably best left unregarded. I have seen a picture of an unidentified sub purported to be in the area, but the validity of the photograph is not established.

It is unfortunate that the video posted on The Drive website, author Tyler Rogoway, is truncated to exclude the most important segment of the activity. I would have to presume that the purpose of the deception is to establish in the reader's mind that the passage of the helicopter across the frame with its bright search light on explains the whole night's episode.

It does not!

Holy crap!!

We’ve uncovered an imbecile who swallowed the helicopter story, and still sticks to it to this day. Does being a moron pay much?
