AND we found out that our own government participated in funding the effort AND our own government and the spokesperson lied about it and was actually involved in the effort... then yes, we'd have a different opinion about Polio AND yes, we'd be very skeptical of anything told to us about so called spokesperson.

If I remember...polio vaccine did not use mRNA. I also recall some people contracted polio from from the Sabin type of polio vaccine. Sabin used an attenuated live virus which can mutate into an infective virus.
The reason why there is pushback, dr. Fauci, is cause people know that the cdc, virologists, etc...really don’t have all the answers.
