They should have developed a traditional Vax with inactivated virus.
I think they expected that a traditional vaccine would cause antibody dependent enhancement.
I think 2 months after the wuhan coronavirus started there was enough information to prevent it and treat it effectively.
Since many of the early experiments with bio genetics also had that problem, I really doubt it. In addition, I was not able to find a single study that didn’t urge caution because of really serious problems — and thus they didn’t proceed to human trials.
I think they did it, because they knew it would be a long time before they would be able to qualify for a human trial - hence the Emergency Use expense. That and some of these rich people want to depopulate the planet so they didn’t really care if people died.
And for sure there was enough data before any jabs were put into people’s arms, to know that it would be a stupid thing to do for public health. They didn’t care - Billions of dollars for doing what they did-and taxpayers got to pick up the tab for a lot of things that would normally have been company expense.
As I understand it no one has a sample of the actual Covid virus so no vaccine with inactivated virus could be made.
FYI....ebola virus vaccine started in 2014-ish. It was given final FDA approval 12/2019.
