Incompetence? The idea that a ground to air missile launch can happen due to incompetence seems much more far fetched then it being done intentionally.
Heck — look at NASA, for heaven's sakes. Out of the agency’s fleet of five space shuttles, two of them were destroyed in catastrophic failures. You wouldn’t accept that kind of a failure rate in a toaster oven or a pocket calculator.
Is that comment from an educated, thoughtful person?
I have several friends and acquaintances in the NTSB and FAA. Incompetence does not begin to account for the downing of TW800. The proof of the missile shoot-down was systematically ignored.
