Trump dropped a bomb during his CPAC speech.

According to Trump, the US Attorney in Pennsylvania was told by Bill Barr not to investigate fraud.

From Trump’s spokeswoman.

President Trump says the US Attorney in Pennsylvania revealed Bill Barr would not allow him to investigate Voter Fraud!

Philadelphia is second only to Detroit in crooked elections!

“Barr himself turned out to be a loathsome fraud. And I really liked the guy once.”

He fooled a lot of people. Some of the people who knew him, and whose opinions I had respected, turned out to be wrong. Joe DiGenova and Victoria Toensing for example.

I don’t know why our side is so bad at evaluating people. From Supreme Court picks to cabinet picks, our record is not good. I’m including the voters who elect RINOs and then reelect them year after year.

Yes, Trump was advised by chameleons to pick hidden swamp snakes and told they could be trusted. And many of the swamp snakes are repulsive republicans.

Re: Why did Trump appoint Swamp Creatures?

Trump also displayed incomprehensible negligence over Freedom of Information Act requests.

As Chief Executive Officer, Trump had the authority to read and release any document in the Executive Branch of government.

Instead, for four years, Trump did not expedite the release of any FOIA documents, even though almost all of the thousands of documents under FOIA would have been politically helpful for Trump, for the GOP, and for Conservatives.

It literally took years, and millions of dollars of legal fees, for Conservative organizations to finally obtain documents that were, more often than not, massively redacted to protect the Deep State.

Trump could have instantly un-redacted every one of those documents - but, once again, he did nothing.

The sellout started the day Trump won. As far as Trump’s choice, before Trump we had eight years of Obama. That has a lot to do with who Trump had as potential appointees.

Truth trumps all. The public deserves to know about the corrupt DOJ.

The swamp is not just deep, it is also filled with back-biting critters. DJT faced incredible problems in cleaning it out, particularly since he had to depend on many establishment Pubbies who in fact were more than willing to quietly obstruct his policies. His experience with Sessions as AG was instructive. He needed a DC insider to know how to deal with each of the different agencies, but by employing experienced DC types who were familiar with the inner workings of each of the departments (which was a logical plan), he ran the risk in each case, of taking on a beltway beltway bandit who would happily turn around and sabotage his the game plan. And that clearly happened more than once. But it would have been impossible to take on DC with a strategy reminiscent of that used by Sherman during his march to the sea. In retrospect, the reality is that the swamp is not only deep, it is dirty and filled with serpents and ‘gators. All critters that profit greatly from their Federal environments, regard their pelf and positions as lifetime entitlements, stick together as “public servants”, and will try to destroy anyone who attempts to limit or interfere with their bureaucratic world. And it extends beyond DC. Remember what the postal inspectors from Long Island tried to do to the postal worker from Eire, PA (as revealed by Project Veritas)? My experience with the gov’t tells me that when a new “political” appointee comes into one of those agencies and tries to alter guidelines or management according to new (i.e., conservative or Pubbie goals) they will be firmly told by the permanent “public servants” of that agency that those changes cannot be done — as they would violate the Code of Federal Regulations, and that instituting such changes would require an act of Congress (and years of regulatory changes) to be legal. So once the Federal agencies are dug in and have their policies and procedures firmly established, changing their course is not something that a new President can quickly or easily accomplish. It is why they call it the “permanent government”.

I love Trump, but who in God’s name advised him on some of his administration picks?

I hear this frequently. We weem to forget how impressed most of us were with Barr ... especially early on. Something spooked him.

And when I hear the frustration with the personnel picks, I ask who, who else was there? The DOJ/FBI/NSA made it quite clear you'd be selling your home to pay legal fees if you joined and served the Trump administration.

The good news is, the administrative state won't be able to pull this off twice --- especially if we own a MAGA House of Representatives at the start of Trump's next term.

Sessions was, hands down, the worst decision Trump ever made.

Cost him 4 years of complete chaos.....and his re election.
