Don Huffhines. He is very conservative but dont think he is very well known outside of the DFW area.
There are tons of reasons that it could be. I live in Illinois and Both people who I would hope to vote for have absolutely HORRIBLE staff that do NOT communicate with anyone. I offered to bust my ass and get meet and greets together in Our Capitol city where I live. Both campaigns, I have contacted more then 5 times, nobody responds. After that you realize, these folks do not have their acts together to run for State Wide office!!
That could be a big reason he keeps losing. It takes a well functioning organization to run a candidate for office. Even those quite deserving of the position have to use certain methods to get the word out to the right people.
Lets hope he has learned.
HE IS ON WAR ROOM RIGHT NOW AS I SPEAK!!
You are delusional, the GOPe hates West and he was gerrymandered out of an easy win into an easy loss. We do this all the time, just like we did to Trump.
Every day now we see red meat issues that the GOP says they are introducing now that they have zero power to bring any of them to a vote. Then consider what they promised to act on if only we gave them all three branches then consider the ones they didn't make any attempt to pass. Republicans always get more conservative as elections get closer.
Many Republicans are secretly Democrats, no Democrats are secretly Republicans. Dan Bongino.
Maybe Cornyn?
I keep telling people, we face a coordinated intelligence operation that has infiltrated our government, created and run by the elites.
We cannot know who anyone is. The only person I trust at this point is Trump. If Trump endorses Abbott, Abbott it is.
8 years as Governor is long enough. It’s time for Col. West.
Trump endorsed Abbot Before Allen West got into the race!
That district was deliberately gerrymandered against Col. West by FL RINOs.
One of my first thoughts as well, but taking on Abbot is fine with me.
I'm not taking any responsibility for that. Voted against him twice, in the primary and in the general.
Ok-so West muddies the waters and a rat gets elected governor. Don’t you think a GOP legislature could keep the rat governor in line? The rat governor shoots off his mouth from time to time but that’s it-good publicity-talk of McGohnahy in the WH. Yeah, right. we can gamble in Tx. can’t we? I say go for it!
An earlier post said it would take 2 election cycles(’22 & ‘24) to correct everything. Add the rino situation and it will take 3. Trump or DeSantis goes win’ big in ‘24-so what if we lose RINOs in ‘26! There’s 23 and 24 to do what’s necessary(congress). Clinton raised taxes and it didn’t hurt him, thanks to Reagans tax cuts.
Cornyn-2026-old. He’ll take himself out if we(YOU) mean business. We gave him another 6 years because the TX. GOP was scared of Beto coming too close to beating Cruz. Texas can become more conservative or more establishment The key names are Cornyn, Bush. Abott perhaps. Are there others?
You proceed from a false assumption. Col. West isn’t there to muddy the waters any more than Donald Trump was when he declared for President back in 2015. He’s there to win. The Demonrats putting up a seriously flawed Hollyweird actor pandering to the moonbat Stalinazi left would be steamrolled by Col. West one-on-one.
Abbott doesn’t deserve a third term. We need another Governor (alongside DeSantis) to go balls-to-the-walls in taking down the Red China puppet regime in D.C. Abbott isn’t the wartime leader to do this.
This Texan is 100% for Allen West. Abbott is not a liberal, but not really conservative either. West is the real deal.
Consider that Trump endorsed McConnell, McCain, Grahamnesty and Romney.
From what I can tell from my very brief encounter with him, he seems like it.
Like so many others, we all just have to hope that if elected, he maintains his Conservative principles and doesn’t sell out like so many others.
I know what you mean about it happening so often, but I would bet quite a bit that it would not happen with Allen West.
I'm down for that.
"The Kentucky Atty. General. The Lt. Gov. runs for a senate seat in his mid-term(fallback). The young Ky. Atty. gen. can succeed turtle or be even a SCOTUS nominee-button pusher."
Close. Cameron runs for Governor 2023 (maybe Thayer as LtGov), defeats Lil' Andy, McConnell retires 2025, Cameron promotes himself to the Senate, Thayer succeeds him as Governor. Meanwhile Rand 2022 swats Booker aside like a gnat.
FL-18 was specifically created to give both West and Rooney (moved to FL-17) an easy layup.
Rooney hit the shot and West missed, and cementing his loss (and future exodus to Texas), West's FL-18 opponent Patrick Murphy was a rare one-termer, replaced by Brian Mast, who would later be a finalist for Trump's VA Sec'y.
FL-18 got West out of FL-22 versus the inexplicably popular West Palm Beach Mayor Loi$ Frankel, and gave West a weak primary candidate in Crowder, instead of having to take on Rooney. Get your facts straight.
