"Greetings from wet, cooler, southern New Hampshire! I am getting a brief respite from outdoor, grunt work, thanks to the Creator! Household Six had her repeat cataract surgery and we are hoping for success, this time."

But you and metmom know how needed the rain was/is in S. NH. More maybe later today for you all, which is coming down heavy here south of you now. Rain barrels are full though, thanks be to God, but the next 10 days look overall cool, with some above average rain:

here in eastern washington it continues to be extremely dry with one brief thunderstorm in early June and that is all for us for 4 months.....very high temps....

I've replaced my lone hanging flower basket three times now....lets hope this present one survives....I've got it out of the sun....

I've had to water my garden by hand every single day, in addition to the sprinklers...

despite the dry weather, garden is looking good....have had tons of zucchinis, pulled some nice elephant garlic, plus loose leaf lettuce....onions are finally getting some size, tomatoes are producing but still fruit is young....

cukes, peppers,squash all doing well....

peppers have had to babied but coming along....

thanks be to God we can garden...
