In theory I agree, but it’s going to ruin college sports basically we will have professional sports in college.

There will unintended consequences that will create one major issue after another in college sports....

Agents will get involved, players might sit out for a better deal, players will be jealous of each other...

Just think of all the issues in professional sports, except magnified by 100 with 17-18 year old athletes being involved...

We already do, but the athletes aren’t fairly compensated.

We already have professional sports in college. Everybody but the athletes get paid. The colleges can sell posters and jerseys and everything else about the athletes but the athletes weren’t allowed to see any of it. This was dumb. Stupid NCAA rules to create the illusion of amateurism while making billions. It needed to end.

So, if a football player leaves college before graduating, plays 2-3 years in the NFL and then gets released, can he go back and play on his old college football team again?
