When will I learn to never go BTT? Those people have bad cases of apathy, denial, depression and defeatism, and their resistance to the truth makes them hostile. They hurt my cheerfulness.
I don’t even have to go BTT for it. I hear it all the time right here at home.
“No one will be arrested.”
“That evidence will never see the light of day.”
“The left will never give up power now that they’ve grabbed it.”
“Trump should stop sticking his neck out now if he knows what’s good for him.”
“We won’t have a clean election ever again.”
“We are officially communist now.”
“Next year we’ll look back at today as the good times.”
Ad nauseam. I don’t know why he even gets out of bed in the morning if things are so hopeless.
