Wow .... I just did a google translate of Domini and they say it means “of”

so “year of” instead of “year of our Lord”

Shaking my head at the knowledge we’re losing every day and makes me more determined then ever to buy up every hard bound book I can find from library and estate sales. 30k and counting......

My wife will just have to cope....

+++++++++++++++++++++++++

Google is all over the place. I just did a search and it says “domain”. Adding “anno Domini” gets the correct translation.

But “Free Dictionary” wouldn’t even give me “Domini” it gave me “domino”. ๐Ÿ™„

I have several old dictionaries and a couple of boxes of very old books from hubby’s dad. Just ordered some more bookshelves, so can’t wait to see what’s in there. You got me thinking that I should get a Latin to English dictionary.
