I was enthusiastic until I discovered who runs it and what it's based on. I even posted it as a thread with a link to what would turn out to be a fake welcome from President Trump.

Then someone said that Gettr is on top of Twitter, and all Twitter has to do to make it go away is 'turn it off'.

Then NumberonePal posted the background of the funder:

I apologize for posting the GETTR information at the head of the thread - it is fake and President Trump has stated he will not join GETTR.

I asked to have the image I posted removed, but as MODS are busy it's still there. Please NumberOnePal's Information on GETTR

After reading numberonepal’s post earlier, I deleted GETTR from my iPhone. I never signed up anyway, but grabbed the app thinking that they would delete it eventually.
