Usually if you were riding to the next town over, you would pack a lunch. Maybe Ma would even fix it for you. Brown paper sack.

From first grade through ninth grade, my mom made me a bacon sandwich every day, wrapped it in waxed paper and put it in a brown bag. I still use brown bags for my lunch :)
