It would only matter if our life expectancy was measured in thousands or millions of years so we could measure the gravitational wave...

Unless you are asking what effect it would be if the neutron star came humping through our solar system...

In that case, real estate values will tank and food prices will skyrocket...
The dinosaurs will be laughing in their graves as the remnants of the Earth accelerate towards the neutron star along with the sun...

Congress, in it's very last act, will mandate reparations for all incinerated people of color and the LGBTTSX communities...
