Here’s my idea for a Gravitational Wave Detector that I came up with in 1993 or so.

Develop a fairly simple satellite that can monitor the Red Shift of six or more very far off stars simultaneously, 24/7/365. These stars must be near 90° apart from each other, XYZ axis.

The Red Shift of these stars should be constant. If the Red Shift of one or more of these stars suddenly changes, then a Gravitational Wave has passed or is passing between the satellite and the star(s) in question. The magnitude of the change in Red Shift is directly proportional to the magnitude of the Gravitational Wave.

Having six points of reference will also give direction.

As Space is warped by the Gravitational Wave’s passing, the Red Shift change would follow a Bell Curve.............................
