I agree with eastforker. Give anything in Jackson Co. a good hard look first. Stay out of Orme Valley and be careful in Bridgeport.
My wife has family in St. Clair County so that’s the primary area we’re looking at. We put an offer in last night on a place in Riverside, so we’ll see where that goes...
We live in Jackson county but on a dead end road on Crow Creek in the valley. I have been here for 6 years and we are the newbies. We have wonderful neighbors and most of them are kinfolk to one another. Most of the property in our area is farmland and have become quite fond our little town of Stevenson.
I used to live in Stevenson and all my babies were born while living in that town. Hubs was the band director there from about 1982 - 1993.
FYI, there are two ping lists which are under my care at the moment, the Alabama state ping list and the Auburn U. ping list. If anyone would care to be added to either of those, let me know and I will add you.
I do not know, nor would I keep, that other institution’s ping list.
