Yeah, well, according to Disney, Boba Fett’s ship isn’t called that anymore. At least it won’t be in upcoming LEGO sets.
Now it’s just “Boba Fett’s Starship.”
No, I am not kidding.
Likely part of Disney’s continued diversity and inclusion initiatives, the LEGO version of Boba Fett’s iconic ship will drop the “Slave I” moniker and instead be referred by its new name. This at the request of Disney, according to LEGO Star Wars Design Director Jens Kronvold and LEGO Star Wars Lead Designer Michael Lee Stockwell.

It's not Disney's first effort, having gone out of their way to sympathetically portray the evil queen from Snow White as Maleficient, rehabbing the character.
It's almost as if they're hell-bent on calling good evil and evil good - for the children.
I wonder, can Jewish Disney employees demand that Egyptian Disney employees apologize endlessly to them for being their “oppressors?” Will Egyptians, Iranians, Iraqis, “Native Americans”, Sudanese, and pretty much any Muslims, among others, be required to prostrate themselves over their slave-owning ways during Disney “diversity training?” And will black employees be required to apologize to each other for some of their ancestors being slave OWNERS, and enslaving other blacks?
At the rate they’re going, Disney will probably rename the Millennium Falcon “Slave I”, turn Han Solo, Luke, and Obi-wan into evil slave traders, alter some of the dialog to make Leia an oppressed womyn, and digitally repaint R2 and C3PO solid black. I don’t know where that leaves poor Chewie….maybe they’ll throw a bone to PETA somehow with him.

Disney is not going far enough! I demand that they delete the name “Boba Fett” as well.
And let me explain why. In Spanish “boba” means “silly”. And I am a silly person. I just can’t help being that way.
So every time I see the name “Boba Fett”, it hurts. I feel like Disney is mocking me, and all other silly people. It forces me to retreat to my safe space. So “Boba Fett” has got to go.
How about “Biden Fett”? Yeah, that works for me.

The character of Boba Fett had a cult like following within the expanded universe for decades before the Mandalorian, people have been making a mountain our of a mole hill with him because you really don’t see much from him on screen. My only wish is that he would’ve stayed dead, having died in the only movies in the saga that were worth a damn in the long run.
Maybe I’m just burnt out on the franchise.
I wish these Disney woke warriors would’ve given me a heads up on this change before making it it public! I would’ve went out and bought as much Boba Fett’s Slave I merch as I possibly could! Wait... am I allowed to say warrior?
And somehow the “Rebellion Alliance” that took out the Death Star was transformed into the “Resistance,” obviously because the former represented the Confederacy while the latter represents Team #Woke.
Gee what am I going to call my slave-master marijuana pipe now?
