Q said more than once, “What makes a good movie?”
Although i NEVER watch movies, I have watched some in the past (last was LOTR), these things make a good movie:
1. Good acting
2. Audience forgets it’s a movie
3. Gripping suspense
4. Happy ending with many surprises
I think these are all in play. And, Q said “Not everything will be clean”.
“Let’s see what happens”.
The last time that I was watching a movie and forgot that it was a movie was when ‘L.A. Confidential’ was still new in theaters. It dawned on me that I had to pee. This broke the spell. I hated getting up for that biological imperative.
That had never happened to me before and I have seen lots of movies.
