So the Q team is in charge, allowing these deaths from vaccinations, for the good of humanity?

I don’t think the Q is fully in charge. I think it is more likely they control a good chunk of the battlefield and have plans for a D-Day invasion, but certain things have to happen and certain threats defeated before they can launch the invasion.

I will let people on this thread who have an interest in, and thus more knowledge of, military history further my analogy for me.

I am sure that as the Allies were planning for D-Day, certain lesser battles and pre-mop-type up operations had to take place in which it was known Allied soldiers and some civilians would die.
