I have the wife on collagen powder and I started taking hyaluronic acid internally. I noticed almost immediately a change in my joint health. This relief was similar in speed as when I cut off white sugar (yes white sugar causes inflammation). The wife is on collagen for cosmetic reasons and I think that times some time to observe.
Normally I make a hyaluronic serum for topical use. I just learned it could be used internally. I'm taking 240mg daily which just happens to be the amount to fill a 00 capsule.
Here’s a photo from Barry’s website with the U.S. flag:
And here’s Barry making a fool of herself:
Good to know about the hyaluronic acid - that it can be taken, internally.
I am also on the collagen.....put it in my morning cup of covfefe. Going on 2nd week. We shall see :)
I’d like to try the hyaluronic acid if you have a source to buy it or a recipe to make it. I never had any joint issues or arthritis until I fell on that foot. The first doctor I saw was a quack and it took 18 months for me to find a good doctor. In that time I developed arthritis in the foot in two places but it’s in bad places. The worst is a cystic arthritis caused from trauma in the Cuboid joint. The tendons that go over that joint had tears that eventually healed but they healed too short and during that time the arthritis developed. The other spot is in the metatarsal joint behind my big toe. So...I have two bad spots on opposite sides of my foot. I’m doing therapy to stretch the muscles in the back of my leg, the shortened tendons, and trying to keep the arthritis moveable. I have tried almost everything from horse liniment to CBD to collagen. The collagen has helped the most but I’m willing to try the HA. :-) It’s hard to go from being so active to walking with a cane on bad days.
Sorry I yelled at you the other day. I think it was you. It’s that darn Scots/Irish redhead temper that I struggle to control when I’m in pain or under stress. I wasn’t nice.
