We have a First Nations problem here instead. There’s some evidence that the government may have turned a blind eye to kidnappings (forcibly taking children to Catholic residential schools), cruelties and deaths in schools run by the Catholic Church. It’s too soon to say if it was a systemic problem starting about 150 years ago and coming forward, or if there were rogue elements within each group that allowed it to happen.

One site in British Columbia had the remains of 215 children and another in Saskatchewan has 751 unmarked graves with a variety of deceased. The FN groups are pressing to have all schools, sanatoriums and other such locations searched for graves, and the Pope is being pressed to apologize and help with identifying potential grave sites. He’s been silent on the matter so far.

Was it before antibiotics, or did it overlap with any massive epidemics in North America?

I suggested to a Canadian friend that this may be how the Canadian establishment is taken down. First release the extent of the evil, and then connect the names of Canadian leaders to it.
