A Florida woman caught in a love triangle with the son of a Florida state senator has been arrested for busting into his date unannounced and killing him, authorities said.
Lakoria Shamece Washington, 24, allegedly forced her way into an apartment earlier this month and fatally shot her ex-girlfriend’s date, Jason Campbell, the son of former state Sen. Daphne Campbell, NBC Miami reported.
When authorities responded to the scene, they found Jason’s body in the complex’s parking lot, with a trail of blood leading back to the apartment, the Miami Herald reported.
“Oh God I loss my baby son … with gun violence while he was sleeping,” his mother wrote on Facebook. “The killer do not have no heart.”
Police have not identified Jason’s date, who they say hid inside a laundry room when Washington showed up unannounced with a gun in the early hours of June 1, the Herald reported.
“She then heard a gunshot. She did not witness the shooting or anyone leaving the scene,” police wrote in the report, the paper reported.
Surveillance footage captured a woman, who was identified as Washington, enter the apartment complex shortly before the shooting, the outlet reported.
Police launched a manhunt that ended on Monday when authorities located Washington in Port Orange, NBC Miami reported.
She was still awaiting extradition Tuesday to Miami-Dade to face a first-degree murder charge in the shooting.

send black lives matter t-shirts to all three of them...
Thank you! Why on earth is so much importance placed on education in this Country when an illiterate such as this can hold office?
Yikes!
That be ugly and angry.
Wow. Such ignorant writing by a state senator.
‘I loss my son in a sensible way’
‘left three kids fatherless’-—All kids by the same woman??????
Sho nuff.
At least not by the ex-lesbian...
Oops! Ignore my previous post. The lesbian did kill the dude.
Oh my goodness, this is the same situation as the one on that other thread. A betrayed lesbian after the guy that stole her gal. At least the first guy didn’t get killed, but only cause that dame hired some teenage “hit men” to do the job, and the triggerman backed down at the last moment.
This woman clearly knew, if you want something done right (wrong) do it yourself!
What a shame, may this fellow rest in peace and may his family be comforted.
Ah. No wonder the Miami “news” industry basically kept this info under wraps...reporting it quickly, dutifully, and then ignoring it as if it wasn’t part of a larger trend.
I remember a few years ago when a bag of aborted fetuses was tossed on top of an abortion clinic—the details escape me. But the “journalists” did basically a drive-by report saying “biohazardous waste” was found and there was an arrest made.
Just like when crimes are now committed by illegal aliens, that fact is never mentioned. Media USED to report illegals committing crimes. Now they just ignore.
Gloria: Do you know that 60 percent of all deaths in America are caused by guns?
Archie Bunker: Would it make you feel any better if dey was pushed out of windows?
“The killer do not have no heart.”
The words of a former State Senator.
How did she get elected ?
“Gloria: Do you know that 60 percent of all deaths in America are caused by guns?”
That is a total lie.
Heartbreaking for what happened to her son.
But we need to rethink some form of literary competency for elected officials that meets a high school D passing grade. Yes, even when in utter despair. My heart goes out to her. But if English is her first language she isn’t suitable for public office.
What about the competency of voters?
This is the SECOND case like this today. In both cases the rejected lesbian shots the man involved. In both cases the people are all black.
It’s sock, sock. Shoe, shoe. Not sock, shoe. Sock, shoe.
Calling on my instinct, here: Something very wrong with that woman’s screed.
Ugh.
I did it for you.
