Where have the fires been? Just curious since you are in the desert.
Fortunately they were small brush fires and they were able to get them out right away.
In the below link is an example of the fires we can get. This was a few years ago. None of them would effect me as I live in town. But houses have in the last few years been being built up on all the desert foothills and that sage brush goes fast.
