The Morning Musings of an MQD

There was never a chance that hundreds of people would come together to share a Q thread without genuine conflict. There is zero likelihood that I could ever make decisions that would satisfy all the different perspectives and core beliefs of those present. Even if it were possible, I have zero interest in exercising the level of control over what others think and say which it would require.

There are natural limitations in place. I have my own personal limitations.  I would never know the complete history of interactions which feed present circumstances. Such history is an important contributor to our sense of justice, and the sense our rights have been dismissed or rejected. I could never maintain the level of intel required to 'have it all.'

Even if I didn't have limitations and 'had it all', there's just no getting around natural differences of this many strong intelligent people posting for this long on content that is often draining, challenging, infuriating and at times, unbelievable.

I pray about what to say, how to say it and yet I still make my own mistakes as MQD. I therefore often try to stay out of conflicts, sometimes even when I'm urgently asked to intervene, because of the likelihood I will make natural differences worse by adding my own limitations, differences, points of view or cultural assumptions. Sometimes less is more.

The times I've been thanked or praised for conflict resolution are usually connected to 1) answered prayer, not the instant development of previously untapped diplomatic prowess on my part and 2) the strength of FReeQs who decide to take it to Festival, or those who pm me to write, "I believe you are absolutely wrong but am letting it go for now because I want the Q thread to continue."

Cooperation, particularly when offended, is not weakness - it is a pursuit of priorities. It takes grit. The disappointment and sense of violation doesn't fade well. Yet, miles and miles of new threads and discoveries unfold under the efforts of those posting and red-pilling as a result of sacrifices like these. Otherwise, time, focus or energy would have drained away if we remained at an impasse, holding out for agreement and concession among those who cannot agree and will not concede.

I believe the only way we've held it together this long, almost 4 years now, is not by asking people to choose sides and state their support for individuals, not by lashing others for perceived weaknesses when they are silent, but by accepting the reality of genuine conflict and utilizing imperfect ways to try to deal with it.

Dem calls for reparations for slavery would,  if enacted, result in the tearing and shredding of our country as no amount of contrition and accounts of past wrongs would ever be thorough or accurate enough. The slippery slope would triumph over all. For similar reasons,  rejecting tools (Festival, pm) that have worked for us for a few years now in favor of 'fighting it out' on thread and declaring an end to cooperation will likely shred the thread. We have no history of that latter tactic working anywhere.

Our thread is quite unique in the unusual level of give and take among participants which has shaped our red-pill effort. This is not to say it's always pleasant or satisfying, but for almost 4 years now, it's has worked well enough to keep us going.

There are times when I've been told via email that X number of people will leave the thread in protest if I make a request that goes a certain direction, at the same time I'm told by another that y number of people will leave if I DON'T make that request. The belief that it's always feasible to 'make a judgement call' that would avoid or resolve conflict seems, to me, a little too optimistic.

Sometimes, tie-breakers help even when they're wrong because forward momentum resumes.

I posted a meme at the top of the thread which I liked but which deeply offended some. I asked admin to pull it down. That offended others who believed my decision was craven weakness in the face of censorship.  Should we fight it out? Should we be doing so still? I assure you each of us was resolute in our convictions. More air time would not budge us, but would likely deepen our differences along with our understanding. Do we post or fight?

There's a range of conflicts on thread, some core beliefs, religion, lack of coffee, life stressors, human failings etc., but aside from some minor variations, haven't we pretty much learned how to deal with it by now?

If tomorrow all our Q threads were pulled and banned from FR, we as patriots would flock to serve wherever we can. These threads are one way that God answers our needs.

I have to say, I can NOT imagine my state of mind had you not been here with me all this time. You have been the OCEAN OF SANITY that has helped keep me looking forward, praying and active these months.

I have compassion for those taking daily beatings from the Deep State 360 degree psyop, those who've lost hope; they don't post with us or lurQ; they could share in our hopes and prayers (and cat memes) if they did.

Time and time again, history proves that hope is our key survival tool that fortifies and sustains people in the worse of times. Throughout the Bible we are reminded of the hope we have in Christ because God knew we needed to hear it. There had to be more, it had to be good and it had to be waiting for us in the future. It's THE keystone (Q proof in the making!).

News good and bad is flowing. We need to keep actively tending and growing our hope and share it with others. Hope takes our courage and care.

Many around us who are asleep are going to feel overwhelmed as they try to absorb in days or weeks that which we battled to accept over the course of months and years.

I believe God has given us this task, it's a blessing even though it can sometimes feel like a curse. Let us serve as well as we possibly can, whether we post here, or post anywhere else.

Whether the internet is down and all we have is pencil and paper to draw diagrams, or puppets made of socks and empty beer cans; let's continue to pray, learn and red-pill.

Prayers up. May God direct each of us to serve wherever we are needed, for as long as we can, to the best of our ability.

ThankQ for lurQing and posting in patriotism and faith. It means a lot to me, and has sustained so many of us through times unlike any other in recorded history.
