So the kid has to drop out of school for kidney dialysis and move into a hospital, and if he moves into a hospital, he drops off the kidney transplant list because you are lower in priority if you don’t have a stable home to care for you after a transplant.
So this teacher decides the kid deserves a shot at life and offers him a place in his home, even though he’s always doubted that he could ever survive if he actually had to deal with his students for more than a work day.
The kid wipes his eyes manfully as he tries to explain to the reporter that although it may be hard to believe, there are some people who like you one day and just kick you out of the house the next day.
Kid moves home. Teacher learns how to with kidney dialysis. Kid gets transplant. Teacher makes arrangement permanent with adoption.
Just wanted to put this beautiful story out there for those who will slam it as pedophilia. Both kid and teacher deserve better than that.
