Pence had no option to send anything back to state legislatures. On January 6th he was presiding over a joint session of Congress, which means that only CONGRESS had the authority to do anything.

Ok.. and they were going to just argue it and vote. They were never going to let it be sent back were they. Once it got to Jan 6th it was a done deal. On that day they knew it was in the bag and made up a fake riot to cover the final part.

Listen up, Ms Canada, you really need to brush up on the US constitution. This is the 2nd highly inaccurate statement about the US constitution you have made on this thread. The president of the Senate (Pence) presided over the election. Ultimately, it was his responsibility, and his alone, to accept or deny those slates of electors.
