Clay and Buck are debuting today.

Listening now and I like what I hear.
It’s still the EIB Network.
Ok
Steyn stated he wasn’t interested.
There was much more than the GOP straw poll, but what could be more relevant than that.
Great first impressions. Energy level is high.
Makes sense the iHeart station is running their own product. IHeart own Premiere which syndicated Rush and these 2 guys. WTIC had a 4.7 market share. Let’s see how local plays out going forward.
Talk radio hosts of the caliber of this duo are a dime a dozen. Passing them off as a replacement for Rush is a disgrace. The use of Rush’s theme/bumper music is ghoulish. The lame network executive who made this bonehead decision should be fired. In my market (southern California) Dennis Prager and Dan Bongino are on the air in the same time slot, and those are the one’s I’ll be listening to. With a nod to Robert Bork, we are slouching toward mediocrity in what passes for conservative talk radio.
been that way a long time with the likes of Glenn Beck, Sean Hannity, et al being the “other big names”
3pm. That was, not good. And you could hear it in Clay’s voice.
3 hours in the can and nope.
Pandering, patronizing.
Early call from the guy with Trump Fatigue Syndrome and the talkers agreed. Nonsense. Razzberries.
Telling us they “will explain things so we understand what’s going on” ?? AYFKM? As if we’re retarded nursing home patients and lost in the world without our Teddy Bear?
Rush is irreplaceable.
Other talkers would have been much better.
I didn’t realize they actually are taking over EIB - is that right? Terrible choice. What was anyone thinking?
Now we know why Steyn never returned- they snubbed the best, undocumented substitute host this side of Walter Williams.
Full of themselves and I’m done. I was sick of Sexton months ago.
What a disappointment.
The whole poll thing between Trump and Desantis was a bad move.
They clearly support moving past Trump
I listened in for about 2 hours. Sounded like a sports station talk show. I will give them a decent chance, but I bailed on Hannity and instead listen to the local guy out on the Houston radio station.
It shouldn't be. Rush was Excellence in Broadcasting. The best of his competitors cannot claim that title, and certainly not these two guys.
Do any two talk or syndicated shows on the Cumulus Network or Salem or ESPN or NPR share the same theme music?
I'm with you! I loved every...single...minute of it! Can't wait for tomorrow!
I'm just curious, why would Buck be doing his afternoon show this week when he didn't do it last week? There was a fill in last week and fill it didn't say Buck was on vacation, but, he did keep reminding us that Jesse Kelly would be taking over on the 28th. Just curious where you heard Buck will be doing his regular afternoon show. Here in MA his show aired at 6pm and it was a "pre-recorded program", just wondering when he's going to have time to do another show??
Oh yeah, that, too. The “poll”.
A painfully obvious manuever to make people listening give up support of God’s own President. ‘Nudging” is what leftists like Cass Sunstein and Rahm Emmanuel like to call these blatant attempts at changing opinions.
I’m in a new radio market and WFIR is the only talker in town. I’m out of loop til I fet my computer set up, or find a portable radio streaming service and device that’s better my current phone.
You’re right that the dynamic duo format usually doesn’t work. But there is enough conservative talk radio talent available so it should not be necessary to piece together two half-brights in order to do the job one capable person could do alone, as Rush did for over three decades. One of the best newcomers is Michael Knowles, and he would be far better alone than these two combined.
I think those of us who will still listen to talk radio will bounce around from one host to another. I’ve listened to segments of Hannity, Levin, Dennis Prather, Dan Bongino, Glenn Beck and Larry Elder. They’re all pretty good in their own ways, but none of them come close to Rush, but I guess this will be my listening pattern from now on. I listened to Rush for nearly thirty years, and his show was essentially the only radio program I ever listened to. He leaves a huge void that none of these guys can ever fill!
I forgot Charlie Kirk too. He’s the youngest of the bunch, and the best host among them that I’ve heard. He beats watching for the future!
