Don’t know, but it sounds like fun! I rode reiners for quite a few years, what a blast. Then did a little penning. Been out of touch with those groups. Friends (and farrier) are ropers, so I will ask them.
This horse slide is making me miss my horses, especially my retired Appaloosa barrel horse, Lady's Hot Shot. I didn't barrel race him but did ride hundreds of mountain trails on him. Hot Shot and I on the other side of the big bay horse. My daughter is on the bay. I rode Hot Shot in a lot of local wagon train benefits. He loved beer and chips and would even eat fried chicken if he was offered. I rode him a lot on mountain trails and he never passed an empty beer box without picking it up and shaking it to see if something fell out. We didn't drink but other campers and trail riders couldn't resist giving him a taste when he begged. Smartest horse I ever had.
