Hot Shot was registered but had a lot of Arabian in him. He could go for hours when the other horses had given up. He was a mischief maker. He’d turn on the water hose to get a drink, give me hugs, and when the farrier came he liked to unload the tools from his truck while he worked on the other horses. No meanness in him at all, just mischief. I also had a strawberry App mare that was small, a little over 14 hands, with a blanket but she would buck you off when she was in heat. The rest of the time she was fine.
We had seven horses when my husband retired. We had Hot Shot, Big Bay (in the picture), a Morgan/Arabian, the App mare, her colt, a big red Quarter Horse, and a young spotted App colt that looked similar to Hot Shot. We sold them all because I was concerned I couldn’t keep them vetted on just my salary. Vet bills for horses can bankrupt you. :-) I won’t have animals I can’t take care of.

I I think I see the counter narrative starting. I have seen several overpasses now in the bay area with handmade GOP signs with the O replaced with the hammer and sickle I believe that is infiltrators and sympathizers setting up the narrative of the Republicans are in bed with the communist Chinese

You may want to go back and reread his response to me about religious beliefs on this Q thread.
