I bet you laugh at some of the things you tried to do at first.
Up here my wife wanted me to shoot every bear that comes along. I refused even though my wife was scared to death to go fr a walk.
Shoot one bear, and the blood scent attracts more of them.And then you have to keep shooting them. It takes a bit of good judgement to live where its wikd. After many years the bears still keep to themselves and we get along fine, But when the wild apples are ripe,the bears are plentiful for a few weeks.I take my shot gun along out in the woods.

During this pandemic, living here has become a refuge, Few people, no risk of disease, and the vast blue sky.More people are moving out of the city now.
