Minimum wage has never been “liveable”. It’s where you get job experience. But with a population of unmotivated slackers who are unwilling to work hard and learn a trade the politicians will pander to them.
What people do NOT understand about minimum wage going up to $15.00 an hour is the cost of goods ALL go up, the payroll taxes for everyone goes up, the employee does NOT benefit at all the ONLY people benefiting are the government they get MORE MONEY!! The employee’s raise is sucked up through taxes AND higher costs for EVERYTHING!! Hours will be cut, jobs will be cut and the government comes out with more money!!
