The U.S. Coast Guard offloaded over 7,500 pounds of cocaine at Port Everglades on Monday, CBS Miami reports. The crew of the Coast Guard Cutter Tahoma removed the bales, which had an estimated street value of $143.5 million.
The coke — more than 3.75 tons of it — was seized in three interdictions in the Eastern Pacific Ocean.

This coke will go and get ‘lost’ like those military weapons have. And probably the same channels too.

I think that is a polite way of saying it originated in China. We wouldn't want to offend our puppet masters, would we?
Florida makes a more efficient distribution point for the eastern third of the United State.

"Eastern pacific could be Mexico or California"
Still, why then transport it to Florida to offload it?

The cutter involved is based in New Hampshire, so it was probably heading up the Eastern seaboard anyway to return home. And I imagine that drug interdiction collection/disposal central is likely in or around Florida, so it makes more sense to unload it there rather than further west, then have to transport it a longer distance by truck.

"Eastern Pacific Ocean?"
Yes, which means off the western coast of the Americas. As opposed to the Western Pacific, which means over by China, Japan, Philippines, etc..
To: alternatives?
cause they have bore bodies than carts...
and carts have to go back AND forth, chain only has to go one way
