I actually just did a search…. Found tons of articles from medical journals (and the like). Picked one at random. In short the belief is that heavy MJ smoking will cause lung damage and possibly COPD, but there was no conclusive data that occasional or light use caused or contributed to pulmonary diseases. For what is — or isn’t — worth.
With an adult caregiver under 18 are allowed cannibas here.
“Always guilt before innocence right?”
Yes. Cops are of course guilty. Or dude was of course guilty.
All based on a tabloid article and video snippet.
I could not care less. As a smoker, I’ve already gone thru the three stages of targeting, ostracizing and demonizing of my habit.....
Should have clubbed the sh$t out of him to serve as an example. I’m sick of this ghetto crap.
He was tased because he reached behind his back as if going for a weapon. No other reason.
I heard it was just vaping. He had mango pods.
If you listen to the audio and watch the video you will see him complying with each command yelled regardless if it was directed at him.
What do they do if you litter? Break your legs in public?
I don’t care if people vape or smoke outside. That’s a personal choice. I just don’t want them blowing clouds of whatever in heavily trafficked areas.
Its not a question of “growing up”. Its a matter of protecting one’s personal health and other people showing some common decency and a modicum of respect for others.
Wondering what you would do if someone blew vape cloud in your kid’s face.
There isnt a single ‘wrong’ in this problem. Lots at fault.
First, there are too many laws on the books, and laws that try to control legal behaviors and make them illegal depending on place or conditions. All of us are guilty of something illegal as a result. Enforcement can pick and choose when to enforce. That creates a mess of a world to navigate through.
As a result of that, respect has been lost for law enforcement. Yet when asked to obey laws the LEO’s are supposed to enforce, some people will push back. This is where things can go sideways. I mean if police cars turns on its lights and tells you to pull over, can you ignore that just because you think you have done nothing wrong? Thats not going to go well even if you have done nothing wrong.
Should a cop taser you because you were driving 10 over the limit? No. Should he taser you if you dont comply with stepping out of the car? Probably not. Should he taser you if you dont follow directions and reach for something in a bag? Well, dont be surprised.
