Canning slide

I have a flat top stove, which doesn’t conduct enough even heat for a traditional canner. Thought this one would work.

It might. Or get a plug in burner to use with a traditional pressure canner would be another way to go.

In a grid down, I’ll still be able to use my old pressure canner from Walmart - less than a hundred bucks. I can use my coleman stove or a rocket stove-plenty of wood around here.

But as long as we have electric, I’d use that for a burner or maybe use the electric canner. I like the idea of canning outdoors in the summer.

Hubby has already said he thinks I should get both the burner and the canner. Ha. SMH. Sometimes I wonder if he thinks that money grows on trees. LOL.
