Sorry about your lack of sleep..you canning like crazy??
I had to run my dog, Gunner, to the emergency vet last night. Terrible ear infection. I saw it yesterday, cleaned it with Zymox, put some drops in, but last night as I was cleaning it, it was just bleeding badly. I was afraid if I waited, it would turn into a hematoma with ear shaking, so I found a place near me, which was a blessing.
But I got home and took my darn morning pills instead of my nighttime make me sleepy pills. I think I got 2 hours of sleep last night.
I dreamt we were really good family friends with the Trumps who gave us diamonds for Christmas each year. That turned into some bloody dream about his butcher who was a murderer. Throw in some meadows and a beautiful swimming lagoon, and then the butcher’s children who were also murderers and their brother who jumped into the lagoon, only to bounce on the concrete about 5 times and turned into a human seal, but deformed. It was appalling. (I need therapy lololol)
I’m hoping tonight I will be dead to the world.

Yes, I have been canning about 15 lbs of stuff per week. Tonight, if I don’t go to sleep, I’ll be dehydrating some stuff, and Vacuum canning some flour.
Tomorrow, I’ll be buying hamburger, sausage, and chicken for canning. Night time canning in the summer. Ordinarily, I get all my canning done in the winter time. But I decided to do more than usual and also try to get a good amount put away before inflation makes meat to expensive, and drought makes it too scarce.
If this was normal times, I just buy about 50 lbs and get it all done using 2 pressure canners, but I don’t want to buy that much at once - I’m not one to clean out the shelves and leave nothing for the rest of the people.

When I was pregnant with my fourth and last child, my mom asked if she could name it. I told her okay as long as we liked the name too. She picked “Devon” for girl and “Gunner” for boy. I thought Gunner was a cute name but I had a girl. A couple years later I bought another horse and named him Gunner.
