I worked til I was just over 67....sometimes I regret stopping because I made good money and with these inflationary times its worrisome.....my job was physical as well as emotionally and mentally draining....

and too many people have died while I kept working thinking "someday" we'll all get together....well "someday" sometimes never comes....

as far as your dtr next door, just talk to her about INFLATION and how its smart to stock pile etc....they don't need the gorey details about the cabal...hell, I don't need the gorey details....lol

If I started trying to explain the Cabal to her she would think my mind was going. I’ll start dropping hints. I think she already stocks up on some stuff because she doesn’t trust the current government either.

When I made the decision to retire at 58 I did a lot of figuring and math first to make sure I could make it four years. I made good money too and was able to withdraw enough monthly to equal what I was making. I knew I had the stock account if something unforeseen happened. I don’t regret the decision at all but living on a fixed income, even with backup funds, makes you frugal. LOL
