is there a thread where you can share your Rapid City adventures?
We are using the same warehousing thread we did when we planned the meet-up to report on it.

It begins over here. Mostly we talked about real life rather than Q or Trump. It was great to meet some FReeQs face-to-face, even if only briefly and few in number.
The executive committee, led by CheshireTheCat, decided that the next such meeting will be held in Branson, Missouri, hopefully after the Restoration, when we can not just cerebrate but truly celebrate.
Personally, I loved South Dakota, both for its focus on freedom, and for its natural and man-made beauty. As meyer has pointed out, the Mt. Rushmore Memorial is worth at least two visits, both in the daytime and in the evening. I was surprised by how much I enjoyed the Crazy Horse Memorial. The evolving sculpture is cool (and the plans are cooler). The associated museum, which held lots of Indian arts and artifacts, also told the edifying story of the genius sculptor Korczak Ziolkowski who got it started and his better half who continued it.
